Driving in fog

I had a thought the other day. Living life as a Christian is a lot like driving in dense fog. You usually can't see more then a few feet in front of you. God intends it that way, we have to trust Him more then. 

Proverbs 3:5-6 has been my current favorite verses lately.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understand; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your path." 

I love this. It says if we trust He'll tell us where to go. This will probably will not look like a map or a list a directions. Sometimes God does give us big picture things to follow. But, at least in my life, it's been more little things He shows me. Step by step, moment by moment. I love this. =) It forces us to pray and trust like crazy. God knows I am too independent for my own good. Too often if I'm not forced to be dependent I won't be unfortunately.  

So next time you drive in fog use it as a reminder of how you're supposed to trust God.
